History
Born and raised in Philadelphia,
Ted Fink attended Germantown High, received a BA in creative writing
from Miami University and a Master's degree in Educational Administration
from Temple University. He has been married to the same woman
for thirty-one years and has two splendid children to prove it.
He started as a singer/songwriter and still
uses songs and music to enhance his intense, humorous and poignant
monologues. He has acted in several major theatrical productions,
and shared the lead in the hilarious off broadway success, Grandma
Silvia's Funeral.
His latest endeavors incorporate a wide range of both entertaining
and educational projects. From producing and hosting a monthly
show entitled "On Stage" which spotlights
troubadors and raconteurs to creating a poetry workshop for elementary
school students to filming his classic story, "Lost
in the Ooze," Ted Fink continues to push the boundaries
of traditional
storytelling.
